Our client had asked us to recreate a book cover for Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. For his preference, he liked if it would be in an 8-bit version of the characters and parts of the story. The story is about a guy named Wade Watts and his journey in the OASIS, a virtual reality world where everyone can do and be anything that they can imagine. The main goal for the character is to find a Golden Egg left by the creator of the OASIS that will give whoever finds it the rights to the OASIS. In order for Wade to find the egg, he must first find the 3 keys to find clues on the whereabouts of the egg. He is accompanied by 4 other players to find the egg before the Sixers, part of the antagonists, do. The story incorporates many video game and movie easter eggs.
